In my 3 D-work I am preoccupied with a specific goal: I want the figures from nty paintings come alive outside the picture plane, messing with the perception as to where "Insider" ends and "Outsider" 'begins. Similar to the abstracted people on my canvasses, the paper sculptures I create are bodies in relationship to each other, to space and to time. One could say they are lacking skin laying bare the vulnerability and woundedness of victim, perpetrator and joyful dancer alike expressing a wide range of emotional states.
